The Mayor’s Action Center (MAC) is a vital resource that effectively handles and directs requests for city services to the appropriate departments. Serving as a crucial liaison between citizens and local government, the MAC efficiently manages a wide range of concerns and issues raised by residents, ensuring prompt attention and resolution. From reporting potholes and street maintenance to addressing graffiti and abandoned properties, the MAC serves as a centralized hub for citizens to voice their concerns.
However, it’s important to note that certain requests, such as power or drainage issues, are outside the jurisdiction of the city and, therefore, cannot be directly addressed by the MAC. Nevertheless, the center plays a significant role in routing these inquiries to the relevant external agencies or organizations, streamlining the process, and facilitating communication between citizens and the appropriate authorities.
